Diving since 1961, with a background that encompasses military, commercial, recreational and technical diving, David Strike has dived extensively around the Asia-Pacific region, has authored a number of books and manuals together with several hundred articles about diving, and has organised – and co-organised - several world class technical diving events.  A former Instructor Trainer and a Field Editor for several leading international diving publications, he is the recipient of the ADEX ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for contributions to Technical Diving, as well as an OZTeK Industry Recognition Award, and is a Fellow of the Explorers Club of New York.

David will also be Rebreather Expo's official MC. He will co-ordinate activities, workshops and talks at the Expo and MC the TDI Tech Party.

Presentation topic - "Rebreather History" - David will be doing a presentation on rebreather history. He has wealth of knowledge and experience gain throughout his time in the Navy as a research diver. It will be both informative and entertaining!
